For some reason, Gesundheit can’t attack statues
Can’t recall if this is a feature but it messed up this game a lot 
Flying phobies can’t attack obstacles unless they are using a special ability, an example is Murderwing can only damage them with Monty and not his normal attacks.

As Oarzius has mentioned, flying phobies cannot attack obstacles unless they utilize a special ability. 
This is as intended and by design.
Sorry to hear that it caused some trouble during your match. 
In that case no problem. I guess it’s a matter of gameplay, there’s no dedicated normal attack button so I get it.
