Note, there is no possible way, at my level, to counterplay someone who already had snowball unlocked, stress level 45. The problem isnt that he had snowball, it was fairly easy to counter. The point is that a level 17 was paired up with a level 45 for arena, which easily had me beat on the terms of just overall better cards.
I dont think pairing me up with someone who has Clinico is bad. But having to go up against people with cards twice the level as mine is a bit unfair.
the games matchmaking is based on an elo rating aka skill. levels arent considered at all. I dont wanna rip too much on people being upset at level diffs even though you can absolutely beat level 45 players by level 17 and I have done so when i was starting out. Personally I think that the stat gains by levelling should just be reduced, this wouldnt be as much of a problem if being level 45 also netted you a massive stat advantage
While the whole elo thing makes sense, being paired up with someone that has an overall higher average Phobie level to that caliber is some serious bs. I’ve had no problem pairing up with people around my stress level and elo before. Seeing as he was in the elo level right above me, I don’t see how, in any way, there wasn’t a single person playing around my level.
I’ll just say the game was unlucky matching and leave it at that.
Yeah matching is a serious problem. I wish there was a game mode played with all lvl 1* and you still get points /rewards and quests.
Or a match that lowered overall avarge lvl to somewhat near your phobies lvl.
Am at Rank sum of all fears. Its insane 4+ overall levels compared to your own. Can almost surrender. no point. I try do the quest instead, to get something out of the match
The thing is, I dont have enough resources to get better phobies. Even after maxing out on tears, getting the second pack in shop, repeat, im still at a standstill. Even when it comes to the events, which provide more resources, without paying money, i cant get enough to level up my phobies that have been supposed to be past level 4. Without access to clinico, i have no way of healing. My phobies cant tank for nothing, so rushing isnt an option. I literally threw my phobies on the fire to kill them in that game.
Long story short, i guess its just a skill issue. I should have spent money on the game…
