I’ve been noticing a trend in Phobies where players spam the undo button in arena when they’re about to win. It’s become pretty common lately, and I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this.
After playing the game for a few months I have to say it’s still fun. Though I had to remove a star due to toxic players. As some may know, in the arena there is an undo button which toxic players spam when they are about to win. This causes the loss to drag on a full turn. What’s worse is if you forfeit the game you don’t get the rewards you would have earned. So you literally have to sit there and watch the jerks take advantage of making you watch their phobies going back and forth just before winning. These actions just take the fun out of the game.
My thoughts in preventing this annoying behavior is to add a limit to the use of undos in arena. A limit can add a new challenge to the game and somewhat stop over spamming it. It still allows them to do the annoying actions so they can have their fun but at least it won’t last the whole turn and may speed up the last turn so more players are available right away for another arena battle.
For large maps the limit can be 24 allowed undos
For small maps the limit can be 12 allowed undos
Hopefully this gets seen by the devs in hopes we can have better game play and stop having to deal with soar winners.

Im sorry but adding a limit to a fix button seems a bit stupid to me, it reminds me of daily caps, which is also kinda stupid to me, i mean yeah, players will be toxic, but theres nothing you can really do about it, except leave the game and make them wait a whole bunch:)
That gives them an auto win if for two turns nothing happens

I did mention in the original post it stills allows them to be slightly toxic but not to the point of a full turn.
You cannot quit or forfeit your game if you want the rewards. So it’s either play a whole game and wait for the jerk to have their way or give up all the experience points, tears and coffee from a full game.
The cap is more like an added challenge and punishment for those who abused the freedom. Keep in mind this would only apply to arena.

Mmmmm, still unconvinced a limit will bring more good than harm, like i said, toxicity will be everywhere, most games cant do anything about it
That’s the thing I’m not trying to stop the toxicity completely. The limit still allows it, but instead of having to wait a full turn you only have to wait for how many undos they have left.
The annoying part is having to wait a full turn for them to get their kicks. If someone manages to go a whole game without using all of their undos then yeah they earned the spamming.
Putting a limit helps with the speed of the matches and gives the undoes more value.
Besides the only players who would not like having a limit on the undos and would disagree with what I’m trying to convey. Are players who use it to spam others.
Look, im not saying your idea is bad and you should stop talking about it or anything, i agree that toxicitys just… dumb, im just saying that im not really a fan, and not everyones gonna be a fan of everything
Are these undos allowed per turn or per game? Per turn and its not gonna do much, per game and it will make slower arena matches even more of a nightmare than they already are.
This feels like an extremely ineffective solution to the problem, undo spammers will just find other ways to be toxic, like intentionally trapping your units and slowing down the match, which some already do or just intentionally running the timer. You cant hard code your way out of people being toxic, there needs to be a proper report system in place
Also the people who dont want you limiting undos are the players who use akira in arena, not just toxic undo spammers. To be fair itd be kinda funny to punish arena akira users, but it wouldnt be good for the game
Ehehe… yeah, definetely use akira in my less favoured gamemode… at stress level 66-
