Hey there!

This definitely is strange. Do you have any cache that you can clear? Try that, as well as seeing if your device and store are fully up to date.

I can update most of my apps but I can’t update some I tried software updating but it didn’t work I don’t know what to do☹️

Which device are you playing Phobies on and what is your store version, device version, and what is the latest Phobies version you are on?

I use an iPhone 12 I’m not sure how to check App Store version I’m up to date on teh software update on update 17.3 and my phobies version and my phobies version is I’m assuming the one before the valentines update which is 1.8.1283. I think the problem is my Apple ID since I switched recently

That’s definitely quite strange for sure and it should be up to date.
You’ve tried clearing your device app cache and info too, correct?
