I received this card – Ace from the Dreadful Pack I received from the VIP event. Paid around $12 and now this has been nerfed! I barely have any other ultra-rare cards.
What a waste of money and time!

Nope, always been an uncommon, it was revealed as uncommon, i opened it in a pack the day the update it came in launched and it was an uncommon then. Never once has it been an ultra rare.
