  • Every theme has multiple maps to play one, except for Scopposeum.
    So i made Reversotope - a map with a unique twist… the keyholes are reversed.


title: the magical flower.
the very center object is a magic flower.
pink is healing pads, orange is lava, red is damage boosts, green is just a normal tile. the hearts are hearts, the keyholes also don’t need explaining. the grey is an obstacle (obstacles are- drooping flowers, bamboo walls or farming tools ( don’t mind what tools it is.) black is abyss and the X means there is a panic point there. the background is like a forest with some reeds and maybe a pond. my Phobies username is BboxJ. thank you.

Concept Art: Takotsubo is a medical heart condition and It’s a Japanese word meaning “Trap for Octopus”. I imagine this as a dark abyssal map with a Kraken in the background and the tentacles grasping the map itself. Fun fact, octopuses have three hearts just like in this map with the one made of lava and the two players’ core.

Level Design: I wanted to make a more suitable map for melee Phobies since the first one I designed was very good for rangeds! This is a Large Map, but the centre of the fight is very narrow giving the edge to those who are strong in 1vs1 situations, the walls have been placed to strategically hide the line of sight of ranged characters. Removing the central obstacle changes everything making the combat space wide open, but obviously, if you are the one opening up the map in your turn, you are also the one that gets shoot against first!

    In this map, fliers will thrive the most to avoid obstacles and reach the difficult stress points throughout the planet. By clearing obstacles, you will have easier access to other sections of the map as well as vantage points to where you can pull enemies to their death. The narrow bridges will encourage players to meet in the center for full combat, otherwise remaining in the bridges will leave you exposed to being pushed or pulled.

Description: the map its a giant web, all the black tiles are abyss, the white tiles should looks like a web thread. all the the panic points are in the middle of the map map making a big risk capture them because the displacement mechanics. maybe add a flying restriction would be nice.

A small map designed around pressuring the heart, promoting meaningful usage and positioning of phobies, and having players carefully balance offense and defense.

Stim pads will protect the center and dissuade reckless rushers. They are too far from the action to aid in offense or protect both owned points, but at the same time close enough to need active protection.

Removing obstacles will greatly threaten your opponent’s heart by allowing ranged units with a 3 tiles reach to target it from a safe position. The time and keys spent to set it up, however, can result in a crucial loss of momentum in a fast paced map.

Jar Cannon will be great to protect your heart and to attack your opponent’s, but he can’t do both at once.
Terrorform can protect your stim pad or open more aggressive paths, but doing both would take too much time.
Choices are important and dynamically reacting to them is key in this map.
