With the new update it seems the replay of the opponents last turn is automatically skipped. Any idea why the change? I like to be able to see that last turn taken so I can know what was done.

If I’m not mistaken this happens when the game is updated.
Since the replay is from a previous version.

As Yhoal had mentioned it may have been from when the game had updated.
Were the matches initiated prior to the update? That likely may be the reason.
Could you let us know if they continue to happen in newer matches, post-update?

The match replays refreshes each time we have an update just like what @Yhoal mentioned, that’s why you will not be able to view your old replays prior to the update. Hope this answers your question.
