I’m relatively new to Phobies (a few weeks or so) and I’ve been looking at some gameplay by top rankers. From what I’ve seen (not a lot), the game seems to remain mostly the same starting off? Are there openings? end games? Is this game basically chess when you reach the pinnacle?
Honestly, not looking for essays, just wanted to hear more experienced players’ thoughts.
kinda chess like yes. you always have to look for the range of the enemies to postioning you guys right. i’ve no watching top levels players but i can assume that some might open every game for example with cassowary and razor mouth. but its also depending on the maps and if you are acting first as aggressor or if you’re in the defending position. Also some guys like some phobies more than the others and anyone have a quiet unique collection on effects in their R and UR spectrum. but yeah some aspects might seen as repetetive starts

There are different conventional openers for each map, most maps have multiple though there are some maps that only have one. There are a few units assigned to finishing off end games, there are also combos aggro strats and everything inbetween
