Honestly, looking at this game, it feels like the balance of rewards and donations is handled by people far removed from that.
Problem 1 - the game does not encourage players. Problem 2 - donation.
The game itself is very interesting and well realized, but the monotony gets boring for everyone, so players should always be encouraged for their play to keep doing it. Right now you can get 1250 cap per day, which means opening ONE weakest pack + one more every 4 days. After reaching that limit, you can collect more coffee (if Iâm not mistaken 50-100 per day), but even after reaching the limit, it wonât be enough to open a pack. Even on the best days, when a player opens more than 2 packs, it does not guarantee him a new phobia.
This is a big problem, because GETTING a new card/champion/phobia directly affects playtime . After getting a new item, the player will continue to play, maybe even putting their business on hold.
Unfortunately right now we donât have a trophy road, rank ups donât do anything, and seasonal rewards are just awful. At best for a month you can get about 500-600 coffee + 1 paŃk in which, ATTENTION, 1 SCRATCH CARD that not guaranteeing a new phobia. This is a spit in the direction of any player.
We also donât have a store where you can buy pump cards or new phobies (itâs hard to get cards when there are no events, and itâs hard to beat a high level opponent).
If we remember the old clash royale, because I donât play the ânewâ one. Players had, 1 chest for crowns, 1-2 free and could potentially open 6 silver chests, but itâs hard. Each player, daily, could try at least 5 times with a small chance of getting a new card. 5 chests in Clash Royale vs 1 pack in Phobies. I think everyone knows how popular clash royale was at the time.
If those arguments arenât enough, anyone can open the Phobies leaderboard and see that at best only a couple players have all phobies.
If a game has top players who spend tons of money and time on the game and donât have all the cards it can only speak of terrible game balance. So terrible that when you think about it, you lose any desire to play.
The problem with donation. Iâm not the only one who thinks the cost of donating is very high. I only have a couple guesses why there are no very profitable offers other than events. 1 - developers are afraid of upsetting the balance, 2 - developers are greedy.
I highly doubt that if a $3 offer comes out every few months that generates more profit than usual, it will upset the balance. As they say, you canât break whatâs already broken.
Well, I canât confirm or deny the second assumption.
While most of this is understandable player sentiment, i will correct one thing: rank ups do improve your rewards, higher rank players get more weekly coffee and more dupes in season packs. Admittedly it isnt much and i can understand wanting a specific rank upreward of some kind, but it does do something.
Why are you making it sound like itâs the worst game in the world?

theres definitely things they could improve but the game isnt that bad
