Basically, I just got the game and I barely got Strangers 3. Im pretty sure I should just stay in Strangers 3 till my silver pack comes out, but I don’t know how much stuff I may get if I end up pushing to Primals 1… I need new phobies and im super underleveled, as my highest unit is a level 6 cassowary which can’t one shot the other peoples Jar Cannons that are level 10 (The one reason I upgraded Cassowary was that role in particular🥺).
Furthermore, I also don’t know if I should get either Frightening Packs or Scary Packs for more phobies. Not only this, but I don’t know if I should save up my coffee to spend on terrifying packs as I have been, or saving up for a dreadful pack.
FIIIIINALLY, whats up with events? I don’t know how they work or how I get rewards.
ITS OK TO ANSWER ONLY ONE QUESTION. ITS A HANDFUL but a guy needs his knowledge.
Going up in rank gets you more coffee on weeklies and more exp and dupes in your seasonals but i dont think it changes your odds of getting new units.
We dont know the odds on tear packs but anecdotally i find scary packs to be best.
Events have a list of things you can do to get points in them, and if you do those things in matches you get points which let you get rewards.

My friend just got back into the game and says that after buying a couple Scary packs, he decided to go all in for the uneasy ones, and he says that he got a new phobie every 2 packs. I would recommend getting one (and only one!) Dreadful pack, then only save for Horrifics. I got one of the deals from Vendy lately ($25 for a Terrifiing, Horrific, and Dreadful pack), and got no new Phobies. I was so upset that I turned around and bought a Frightening pack out of my anger at the moment and got freaking Terrordactyl! My anger was refreshed with happiness, and back to anger for remembering that I got nothing for paying money, and something incredible for just playing the game. I’m sorry I wrote so much for a simple answer, but it feels good to tell people. I also recommend getting Scary packs from now on.

According to the % odds the devs gave us horrifics are statistically the worst pack, with terrifyings statistically getting you the most units of any pack and dreadfuls statistically getting you the most ultra rare units of any pack. Horrifics do have a slightly better chance of getting you specifically rares, but thats about it.
Really?? I got 2 of my URs from Horrifics. Terrifics and Dreadfuls have done nothing for me.

How long ago did you get the game? I remember having it for around three months when I got my first level 7 phobie. It took my brother a little more than a month to get his, so I think you are under leveled. Can you check and see what your stress level is? Horrific and terrific did nothing for me dreadful not much 1 ur out of 12 dreadful packs only golden session packs are good for me 3 out of 4 ur but the grind is insane and it hurts when you don,t get a good phobie
I’m stress level 15 right now. I have maybe 5 or 6 Phobies at level 4 or 5. I also got the game maybe 2 weeks ago

i’m on stresslevel 76 with like 90 phobies.
dreadful packs gives at least phobies. mostly common. had 2 in like 12 packages and i will not save coffee for them longer. opening the 300 coffeepack is more thrilling. especially since i saw dudes get there UR also there.
if you have not opened a dreadful pack by now you should save your beans because you get 1 UR guaranted on the first one. same one the horrific and frightening pack. but after that it’s random and i’m highly dissapointed by the dreadful pack
I think the 3000 tears pack will have the biggest chance of giving you a new phobie, but i’m not buying them any longer. the 1000 tear pack gives more uprage cards in the end (marginal) also it had a reduced chance of giving a huge amount of cards for guys i’m not using at all.
The thing with getting not the kill on phobies because of being underleveled is a thing you have to get suited to sadly. i’m on average level 11 on my guys and got just yesterday to Sum of all Fears 2 and will not play until i got the monthly silver pack. because i know how this will end lol. quote of guys being double the level will be normal. but this also is kinda the thrill, clapping someones bank account lol.

Ok, you are quite underleveled, BUT! If you’re underleveled compared to the people you’re playing against, you must be pretty good. Your problem may be the need for XP, or upgrade cards.
