He can assume the aspect of an enemy’s Phobies copying its damage, health, attack and walk range, special ability, such as cure, dealing potion and desease effect, or fire. He can copy every type of ability except the one’s who make the Phobie transform; an example could be that he can copy the form of werewolf but can’t use his transforming ability. He can only copy Phobies which keys cost is inferior of his. When he transforms back to his original form, his health is equal to the one he had before he transformed. Sorry if I’m not very clear, we’re Italian.

Where does the idea come from?:
I’ve played phobies for 2 years and a half and I always wanted to share my idea. My idea comes from the Yokai Nopperabō from the Japanese folklore. It is a human like Yokay that doesn’t have a face, but can assume one. Since the Yokay scares people based on the folklore, in origin I also wanted to do that when his special ability ends he would scare the enemy’s Phobies at 2 tiles of distance by him removing one action for 1 turn, but then we decided that it would have been too op! I’ve decided to use the name jack because in English Jack is a stranger or any people.

Who made the idea?:
Me and my friend made this idea, and he helped me a lot with the drawing and I had the idea. My username is BoyWithUke and my friend username is Vaesen

Phobie Concept and Design Meaning:

Pollenate is a sunflower-inspired healer Phobie, symbolizing purification and resilience. While in reality, sunflowers absorb only a small amount of radioactive material, they have become a symbolic figure for environmental healing and post-radiation recovery. Several eco-organizations use sunflowers to represent hope and detoxification, and this Phobie was designed in that spirit. And in a more negative sense, it represents a fear related to pollen or pollen allergies.

Its healing power is modest, but its short ability cooldown makes it a highly flexible support unit. Pollenate serves as an alternative to Bluelien — the most iconic healer in the game. While Bluelien excels at alternating multi-target healing, Pollenate offers situational advantages by being able to deliver precise, long-range heals through line targeting. However, it trades off overall healing efficiency and combat strength — it’s truly a harmless flower, devoted solely to its healing duty.

To enhance its thematic link to pollen and hay fever, Pollenate’s basic attack applies mild poison damage, as if its sneeze spreads irritating pollen toward the enemy.

This balance makes Pollenate a strong counterpart to Bluelien, rather than a replacement — each has distinct healing mechanics and strategic roles.


Visual Design and Animations:

Design: Pollenate resembles a one-eyed sunflower. It has two leafy arms extending from its sides. The legs can be designed in one of three styles:

  1. A cluster of fibrous roots,

  2. Two thick root-like limbs (similar to Ginsting’s arms),

  3. A flowerpot base

Movement Animation:

If using fibrous roots: movement animation is similar to Awol.

If using root limbs: movement is like Ginsting or Scritch.

If in a pot: movement resembles Furkin Leepricarn.

Idle Animation: Pollenate pulls out a watering can and waters itself.

Interaction Animation: Pollenate uses an eyedrop bottle and winks afterward.

Basic Attack Animation: Pollenate sneezes forcefully toward enemies, scattering pollen and causing mild poison damage (similar to Lila’s sneeze animation).

Ability Animation – Sunshine Beam:
Pollenate lifts its face toward the sun to absorb sunlight. Its petals close like a flower bud around its eye, then it bows its head downward toward allies and opens its petals again, releasing a radiant beam of sunlight to heal them.

Hello, this is my first entry for like the phobies create thing, I don’t really wanna make a map.

I was thinking maybe he could also be named Harold, the scarecrow from Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, with the ability instead spawning the obstacle on enemies he defeats, maybe the obstacle could also be a scarecrow, spoiler for the film.
