Cupcake is great if you have a slow unit against something stronger in an early round. Your enemies goes in for a kill, you toss the cupcake and turn the situation around.
The Stingray is really good at taking out repeller/attractor, which are two of the most dangerous units to play against
Minotaur has good stats and at only 3 cost you can get some excellent value early on.
