my third fan phobie
IGN:ForrorruF
heres a :blossom:

This little guy you see here , commonly known as unidentified walking flora separated from a meteorite after germinating in it under the care of botanical experts, which it then used as fertilizer to grow those huge roots that you see down there, capable of going through the ground and hitting you at any second, don’t leave this invader unsupervised anywhere with soil if you don’t want it to spread cover everything with its golden buds

A reference to the rose from that old adaptation of The Little Prince, and perhaps a little sparkle from our little friend “It’s kill or be killed”

Movement type - Walking

Ability
Rust in peace
Lock - 1
Cooldown - 3
Effect duration - 2 rounds or 4 turns
Range - 2 (line of sight)
Affected phobie - 1
Ability type :- It can grant any phobie the ability of static, or the affected friendly phobie can’t be moved by enemy pullers or pushers for 2 rounds. Although it can move by itself but can be teleported .

Aesthetics :-
It has glowing molten eyes with white teeth and chains are floating around it . It is always giving a devilish smile with its teeths wide open .

Idle animation:-
It looks towards the floating chains arround it and seems happy . Sometimes it eats a chain like a noodle.

Touch animation:-
When being touched it spits out the chain and the chain again floats arround it . And after spitting the chain it shakes it’s head left and right.

Walking animation:-
It leans forward and moves just like etrarnal knight .

Attack animation : -
It attacks by moving it’s floating chain which spins and then attack.

Ability animation:-
It opens its mouth and a chain comes out and it binds to it , then it’s like when one action is removed in a phobie that same animation is played but tiny traffic cones move arround it.
(It’ll be one of the best counter for the doc holiday and attractor)

Yo bro it is so similar with my phobie :sob::sob:

Don’t worry you won’t face any problem ok

No worries, I understand! Yeah, it’s just an idea to utilize that mechanic. And by the way, when I was translating, the previous health point of 3600 was left in and I forgot to edit it, sorry about that!

My 3rd submission!

Keeping up the tradition of absolutely loving phobies that force you to think multiple moves ahead and give you advantage from smart placements — Shikra! (The name was taken from a beautiful hunting bird ;>)

This time the stats are on the card, so quickly going into talking about the ability:

So many options…

Upon activation you get to choose 2 tiles in the line of sight of the character to spawn mist clones on, as well as the character itself becomes one.

Each clone has a lifespan of 3 turns, the main clone becoming the real version again (the main one being the real version that turned into a clone), that is if all of them survive by the end of those 3 turns.

If a clone attacks or gets killed, they simply turn into a mist and disappear. When 2 clones are killed, the last one’s mist disappears and the real version appears in its place.

The ability goes on cooldown the next turn from the turn when the clones were created, that way there would be at least 1 turn of downtime to be able to dive the Shikra to get rid of it.

Getting too agressive could end up losing you the phobie, so you’d have to always be on your toes about choosing which enemy phobie to dive and when to retreat, since a group attack from all 3 clones and a dive phobie like cassowary could help you destroy the whole turret setup that your opponent has built up.

●TYPE: Monster

●RARITY: rare

●KEY COST: 3

●HP: 950

●SPEED: 2/1

●RANGE: 1

●PASSIVE ABILITY: Bella has the ability to get enemy phobies into her, by doing so the enemy phobie is no longer able to walk or to attack belle directly, but can still attack other phobies or use his ability.
To unstuck the enemy phobie, the opponent must kill or push away belle.
While the enemy phobie is stucked into belle she cannot attack other phobies, but can walk around the map while having the enemy phobie inside her.
When an anemy phobies is stuck into her, her movement speed becomes 1, due to the higher weight.

●CONCEPT: Bella is a female donut, she loves to work out and make new friends, even in the opponent field!
She rarely hurts anyone but prefer to hang out with those that seem to not understand her, you never know when a new friend is coming!

Hello!!! My name is jabbowocky, you can call me jabbo for short, here is my Entry Submission for the contest. Hope you enjoy
IGN: wockerjabbo

NOTE: the stats for the phobies aren’t final and can be changed by the developers in order to become more viable in the game

Laundrowrath: The Beast Machine
Lore: an old laundry machine that was brought to life thanks to the power of friendship… That was a lie, instead its cybernetics and extra parts rebuilt by an unknown maker, instead of washing clothes and dirty sheets, it is now used to clean other phobies. It does have a bit of hyperactiveness at times, especially the obsession of putting and storing things inside of it to keep them safe and clean, which may or may not have caused numerous problems in the past.

Laundrowrath name origin:
Based on the words “laundromat” and replaced mat with Wrath so now its ‘Laundr0-Wrath’

Ability explanation:

Laundrowrath swallows an ally phobie from a 2 tile radius, the swallowed phobie cannot be used as it is inside laundrowrath (it will still use a phobie slot)
Laundro can still move while another phobie is inside of it.

While inside of laundrowrath, the phobie will gain +150 health at the end of the turn (similar to healing spa) Note: undeads still cannot be healed

After using the ‘In you go’ ability it will have a second phase
Which is locked for 1 turn
The second phase of the ability allows laundro to spit out the phobie to an adjacent tile no longer shielding or healing them aswell as also applying daze to the phobie (because being inside of a washing machine can be disorienting)

After using the spit ability the cool down for laundrowrath’s ability will start.
If laundrowrath dies while housing a phobie, the phobie inside will land on the tile laundro died in, retaining 2 actions

Clarifications:

  • Laundro cannot swallow a frozen phobie
  • Laundro cannot swallow a phobie with stasis (if you aren’t close to them)
  • Phobies affected with status effects like debuff, immobilization, daze will still have effects on them while inside laundrowrath
    Until the effects last
  • Laundro CAN swallow undead phobies but they will not be healed and the daze effect will still apply to them after using spit

Main Use:
as a support role to defend and block opponnent attacks
it storing a phobie inside acts as a sir probes shield ad well as being mobile and heal the ally inside (it having 2 range on the swallow means that it can safely swallow an ally at a distance

This also can be a somewhat mobility phobie as it can move and spit out a phobie on an adjacent tile

Balancing:
due to it having the role of healer, and mobility, this means that it must have downsides, the downside is that it applies daze in the phobie after being spat out of laundro
to prevent another fantome incident from happening ever again

Strategy:
its a really mid close range fighter without the ability that and the healing is weaker than bluelien or the regular healing spa so use laundro if an important ally is about to be hit by a noxious aoe, sheeping or any poison/disease aoe attack to save them from being killed
this also means that the phobie can safely recover whilst laundro tanks the extra hits.

Gato, The mutant Catfish
Lore: she used to be a simple catfish living in a simple pond, up until a corporation set up a nuclear power plant near her pond and dumped their excess nucelar waste in her home
Exposed to the radioactive chemicals
she somewhat gained legs but are under developed allowing her to climb out of her pond but she was frail and weak. The people working at the powerplant saw her and used her as a fine specimen for lab experiments. They experimented on her but those experiments inevitably killed her, but they used something that should never be done, they revived her, now a zombie, they implanted her mutation
serum to further make her stronger in order to be of miltary-use, but she escaped the lab and lived freely on her own

I named her gato because gato means cat in spanish also it fits because she’s a catfish
That and its name originates from the phobia called “Gatopsaraphobia” Meaning fear of catfish

Gato Main Use
A decent health undead able to dosh out chunks of damage, it punishes those that try to kill it or those not managing to fully kill it off
Its berserk state means that its able to deal chunks of damage
If left alone in the battle field and still have decent usage even without berserk.

Its bypass movement means that its able to get through tight crevices and obstacle ridden maps very easily and lay pressure on the enemy

Balancing: its an undead, so its main counter is definitely going to be poison and disease,
That and the fact that berserk has no cooldown timer so theoretically it can last throughout the entire matchup but due to it being undead means that its able to leech from others and leeches even more from its beam attack, so if it manages to heal above 1000 hp from its attack, it will return back to its normal state keeping its berserk state in check to not become overpowered

Strategy: You have to time your attack correctly because if you use your beam early without berserk state
You wouldn’t get the most value from it
And its undead race means its a double edge sword to attack just easily
Because of the leeching factor

Ares: The Unstoppable Demon
Lore: Ares is not actually related to rambolina or mr tramples, rather he is a demon who simply was curious of them and simply copied their form, adorning horns a set of sharp teeth and a gaping maw, it is considered a beast to be reckoned with. It is so powerful, vendy had to lock it with 9 keys in order to not be unleashed so carelessly or it shall bring absolute armageddon, or shall we say… Warmageddon.
Name origin: Based on the god of war, ares
The design was inspired by the zodiac sign Aries which means the name has 2 different meanings

It is an anti freeze/ traversal mobile damager

Balancing:
Lowered the hp for a standard 9 key
But the base damage more than makes up for it, allowing to deal 700 damage total as well as being a brutal counter to freeze phobies which is why it is 9 key

Strategy:
Summon Ares when the opponent least suspects it
Because most matches when the opponent is saving up for 9 keys they are likely to use phobies like heavo 3.0/plaid, chuck and etc. so they most likely will use a freeze phobie or an electrical to predict.
This is your queue to use ares to not only go into fights much earlier (via it’s 3 movement) but also be a strong damage dealer overall

My Phobie submission: Steampunk!

IGN: Creepslime
Name: Steampunk
Rarity: Rare
Race: Mechanical
Keys: 7
HP: 2300
Range: 1
Attack: 600
Movement: Walk 2

SteampunkAnimation

Ability: Steamroll
600 Damage
1 Cooldown
Targets an adjacent tile. Any enemy unit on that tile takes damage. Additionally, any obstacles or walls on the tile are removed.
Momentum: If the tile is free of both Phobies and obstacles after the ability concludes(I.E a wall was just destroyed, and/or the ability’s damage killed the Phobie on the tile), then Steampunk moves to the target tile.

The general vibe of Steampunk is an imposing force, a towering, crushing automaton. It rolls a steamroller roller ahead of it, pushing it along with its legs, much like Sisyphus of old. When it attacks, it slams the wheel into the enemy, and when it uses its ability, the enemy/wall is decompressed as it becomes flattened by Steampunk’s might. One might say it’s on a roll!
The name is a pun on the two inspiring machines - steam locomotives, and steamrollers. It also features a “mohawk” much like a punk might adorn fashioned out of the steam chimney and the other metal bits on top. The singular ‘eye’ might flash when it performs its moves, and the gears that are its “shoulders” might spin.
It could have a mixture of various clockwork and machinery noises as it does things, of course including the imposing wail of a train horn during its ability.
Its fears it represents are Cleithrophobia (fear of being trapped), and Siderodromophobia (fear of trains).

Monaxió (Monaxiá in Greek) means loneliness. Monaxió, that’s what everyone called him before his tragic departure from this “horrible world”. Or maybe he gave himself that nickname, since no one ever called him by his real name.

"Always watching, always crying,

In the deepest part of the sea.

Silencing everything that made me tremble.

Loneliness, loneliness, where are you? Take me away from this cruel reality.

Laughing, playing and enjoying, for me that’s blasphemy, Fear, loneliness and sadness, were what led me to my healing."

These will be my last words before I leave this “horrible” world, although no one will read them, because they will remain buried, along with my greatest fears.

Although no one knows, since for everyone he was a zero to the left, his body still remains at the top of a cypress tree, he sought the most deserted place to die without any distraction.

An orphan who was never accepted, tried and tried, but still no one spoke to him, not even for a second, everyone looked at him with disgust, fear, it was the only thing that provoked his dirty and tattered image, the only one who loved him was an old man who died weeks later.

Monoxió took the old man’s jacket, which was too big for him, covering his entire body, and the sleeves reached the ground.

Even more disappointed with life, the only time he was taken seriously was to kill him, since they thought he was responsible for the old man’s death.

That’s why he doesn’t trust anyone, and now the only thing that calms him down is the sound of the sea waves.

When the sun came out, it was only to look for food in the trash, but even that was denied to him, one day the neighborhood kids beat him up with all kinds of objects, branches, stones, whips, bats, among other things.

He had no other option but to start eating raw animals, even dead ones.

I don’t want to continue because it’s too cruel, so here are the statistics of this phobia that represents loneliness: Monachophobia, it’s in the Phobia room, fear of dying alone. Ultra-rare. Cost: 8 keys. Life: 1800. Flies in 2. Attacks . Damage . Ability: I want to be alone!

Appearance: wears a large jacket with large sleeves that extend to push enemies away, can be used in the next turn and will last for 2 turns before needing to recharge.

Curious facts: around his neck he wears a rope, referencing the rope that was never removed. On the left side of the jacket, there’s a zero symbolizing the phrase “a zero to the left”. Would be the first 8-key Phobia.

Passive: Don’t touch me! Like Stabby and Hexxy, when attacking Monaxió, he will return 40% of the inflicted damage and reduce 200 damage to anyone who attacks him.

Thanks. I hope you read this, since I only wrote this story because I was inspired. I accept criticism. The poem was just an idea, it’s not part of the story, but it has something to do with the little story I told.

I didn’t have time to show you a story I had written, it was already over 30 pages, but I still didn’t finish it. If you want me to send you the link or PDF, let me know if you’re interested in reading it, although it’s too long, but it’s entertaining, and even some people who read it told me it almost made them cry, and that’s just from the beginning.

Aaaaaa and I forgot, when he gets hit, he gets angry and his color changes to red and he releases waves that return the damage.
Here’s a small image of when he uses his ability.

Here’s the last phobi I created: Smilkin. Rare Dimensional Life: 1200 Runs in 1 Attacks in 2 Damage: 350 Ability: “Duplin” creates a copy of itself, distance: 1 square, this clown draws a star symbol with a circle around it and inflates a balloon, placing it in the center, and summons it with the following statistics: Life: 600 Runs in 1 Attacks: . Damage: . This copy can create balloons that will act like a Blue, if killed, it will reduce 250 damage, and if there are enemy phobies nearby, it will be like a Blue, but it will walk and have 100 life, and run in 1. Note that the balloons will behave like other phobies on the map, if you want to use something and the balloon blocks you, you won’t be able to do it, and if the original dies, the copy will also die with it, but the balloons won’t. And if the copy dies, it will have to wait 3 turns to create another new one, it won’t be able to create more copies while it’s alive.

This is one of the ideas, but I want to give you another one, I don’t know which one you’ll think is better, the card has the statistics and abilities of the previous one, in this one it will be the same, but instead of the balloons reducing damage, they will cause negative effects on enemy phobies:

Damage reduction
Damage
Poison
Disease

These will be the 4 effects that the balloons will cause if killed, NOTE that these will only affect the unit that killed it, not in an area. These will be random effects that will occur at the end of turns, i.e., you kill it and when the turn ends, that’s when it will cause that effect, making it something fun for the game, and a new mechanic.

Obviously, with the following effect statistics:

Damage reduction: -250
Damage: 350
Poison: 200
Disease: 180

Obviously, you can change these.

Curious facts: SmilKin shoots pies with a cannon. In case the idea of giving negative effects is taken, these balloons will constantly change color.

Thanks for your attention.

Phobie 1 ;

Name : Puffy
Cost : 1 key
Race : Monster
Rarity : Ultra Rare
HP : 600
Damage : None
Movement : 2

Special : Flarinator
Range : 2 (line of sight)
Damage : 325
Fire Damage : 100
Cooldown : 1 turn

Short description:
I got the idea of wanting a ranged 1 or 2 key, and I got inspired by Tamagon, a character from the NES game; Devil World. However, to implement it into Phobies, I needed look into the game. And I found Puff’s egg art. And figured, perfect.

Puffy is, literally a baby Puff in an egg. He wears his egg proudfully and also a piece on his head. And he rolls around to move. Due to being so small, he’s not yet availible to fly or fight. However, he can breathe fire, like Snowball and deal good damage.

Phobie number 2;
Name : Time Keeper
Cost : 6 key
Race : Dimensional
Rarity : Rare or Ultra Rare
HP : 1600
Damage : 450
Range : 2 (line of sight)
Movement : 2

Special : Daylight Saving Time (Trap)
Range : 2 (line of sight)
Cooldown : 1 turn

The trap disables resets cooldown when stepped on it, like Furkin special.

Short Description;
The person who uploaded “Hairball” inspired to make a Phobie based on Tangela, which later became Time Wizard, that can place cooldown traps. Since Furkin is the only cooldown unit, I figured it would be nice to see another.

Time Keeper, (Originally meant to resemble an automaton clock with a cuckoo staff that shoots birds as projectiles and place nests as traps), is a, Kobold, like Furkin. While keeping the cuckoo staff, Time Keeper is related to Furkin instead of an automaton. Since it has a similair race and role as Furkin, I figured I like the idea of Time Keeper being “Bluddy Leepricarn” or something in that regard was fitting.

So here he is. Placing cooldown traps and hold back enemies from enaging too much.

The traps work like Jeeves’ and deal no damage, but they disable the special and then activate the cooldown (like Furk’s).

Phobie 3:

Deadeye
Cost : 9 keys
Race : Mechanical
Rarity : Ultra Rare
HP : 1300
Damage : 300
Range : 3 (line of sight)
Movement : 2 (grounded)

Passive 1 : Headshot

Every 4th attack Deadeye gets a 50% damage increase.

Passive 2 : Silencer

Headshot ignores passives and buffs and removes them (think of SirProbesalot shields, Tiny Tim’s peekaboo). Additionally it adds a Silence debuff for 1 turn.

__Additional interactions :

Headshot stacks are permanent, even if revived by Undertaker. Once Headshot is fired, the stacks reset to 0.

Headshot stacks cannot be obtained though attacking obstacles. Headshot doesn’t work on Obstacles and the obstacle is damaged by normal attacks instead.

Headshot stacks can be obtained on the heart. Headshot works on heart.

Headshot first removes the buff (in example Mistle Toad’s and Probesalot’s) and then does damage calculation.

Damage buffs also get a 50% increase with the Headshot bullet too. Example. 300 + 300 (buff) × 1.5 = 900.

The Silence debuff disables passives like Quagmire heal, Rockus statis etc., for 1 turn.
Additionally the debuffed unit cannot recieve buffs or heals for 1 turn.

It unborrows Tiny Tim.__

Background Story;
Originally, Deadeye was meant to be a pair up Phobie with an 8 key called “Flyborg” and Deadeye’s name was “Rambot”. Rambot was like a sentiel with a 3 range atrack and laser that got 50% AoE when paired up with the 8 key Flyborg.

I took Rambot and realised as a stand alone he’s not unique. So, I kept the range, as the range is what defined Rambot. And so, a Sniper class/Jar Canon archetype was born. It was tough to balance it properly.

My idea was to give it 4 range. Yes. 4 range on a 9 key, until the Legendary Karsto told me not to. So instead, I gave it 4 range and made it an auto attack based poke queen unit.

Headshot is inspired by Caitlyn and Jhin from LoL. They can stack and fire attacks and fire a big shot that deals a lot of damage.

Unlike other units, Deadeye does not have cooldowns, but is reliant of his action eceonomy to fire the big bullet and cripple the enemy with it. This will reward aggressive play while passive play will take more time to charge headshot up.

It took me a lot of feedback to make him, and I hope he wins most of the 3, since I believe he can add a lot to Phobies and is fairly balanced.

Thanks for reading.
