Giving my honest opinions to the new phobies

Lenny: we all know about lenny crashing the party, and i think hes gonna be pretty great for a lot of players, being the cheapest turret almogside unicorn (and gesundheit ig but hes bad so who cares), i dont think lennys gonna be better than unicorn, but thats not to say lenny is bad at all, having above average stats for his cost and being a turret is already pretty sweet

Mozzy: mozzy is basically a cheaper, more aggressive alastor, not to say alastor is super crazy op or anything, just what alastor can do, mozzy can do to, albeit worse, i dont see this being used a lot, mostly for niche scenarios against enemies that cant wipe it in a single turn (which isnt hard to do considering mozzy has only 900 hp)

The sneers: ill say this right now, alfred SHOULD NOT BE AN ULTRA RARE, any normal person will tell you how hard it is to just get 1 SINGLE ULTRA RARE, and if your ultra rare isnt alfred, well tough luck try again, and its even more depressing to know that you pretty much NEED alfred for all of the sneers to work, as guillame and doloris arent anything special without him

Now with that being said, i think the sneers will be pretty damn good IF you have all 3 of them, doloris probably sucks the most without the other 2, but also gains the most stength from the pairing, as the difference between being 2 ranged and 3 ranged is ENORMOUS, you essentially have a tankier oopsy baby for 1 key less without the debuff, i dont think itll be too hard to keep the sneers alive as guillame will just be zooming around the map, doloris is not only tanky but also is a sniper, alfred on the other hand is the most vulnerable of the 3, being actually pretty fragile and will probably stay at the back being support rather than your main attacker even with 750 damage

Octo-buddy: octo, as his ability implies, will of course be situational on maps, if the map doesnt have abyss tiles, then youre pretty much wasting your keys as his stats dont compensate being used for other purposes, but plugging up abyss tiles seems like a pretty strong combo tool or just a good traversal ability all around, and since you can spam it every other turn, you can do a lot with this guy plugging up abyss tiles i can already tell

Preacher: i think preacher is gonna be the strongest out of everyone released, he deals quite a lot of damage and for how fast you can set him up, you can deny a lot of area quickly with this guy and the ability dampening is the cherry on top, i can see this being a good counter to a lot of the meta abulities like noxious, creep, akira and such, and if he gets in a bad spot you can just switch modes and run away

Pearl: pretty much just a side grade to heavo 2.0, i do think heavo 2.0 has a bit of an edge compared to pearl because of the range, but being a sidegrade version of an already solid option just makes you also pretty solid, and in other situations pearl can be a better pick than heavo 2.0

buzzkill: buzzkill is an interesting one to me, he has the exact same stats of mount crushmore except for the lobbing, which i find pretty weird, because one of the advantages of mount crushmore over gravedigger is that crushmore himself can use his obstacles to his advantage, but buzzkill cant do that, his terrorform seems more reliant on being an ease of use tool, to help others reach spots they once couldnt way easier than the other 2 terrorformers, i dont think he’ll be bad, but i dont think he’ll be good either really

Lenny. love him. saw him one time. animations are golden. only problem for me is that unicorn has his traps and he has a poison weakness. maybe giving him this Ressurect ability as well?

the new fly - well i like him aswell. did not see him, but had a similar idea for a phobie so i appreciate him

the 3 butlers will be most likely dead draws. i see no point in one of them without the others. gillaume has the most style though.3 jeeves reskins. i really don’t know. don’t look forward to draw these. especially when you have to play them all to get effects.

octo-buddy. it supportative i guss and situational. but ok.

preacher. don’t get it. he uses his ability and switches stances to 0 movement 3 range and a field that that prevents phobies from using abilities inside the range? only the enmy ones? i think his stance switch will be one of the 2 avaiable turns, huh?

pearl: hi welcome to the game

buzzsaw: is the saw just a obstacle with style or does it actually have a effect like counterattacking melee attackers? don’t know. oh i see the difference, he’s building 2 spaces away via lob, ok, fine i guess. he will be annoying.

Theres actually more to preacher, his ability is always available but can only be used once every turn, and it does take an action point to use, think of his ability like a toggle that you can switch between, when hes in his “turret” mode he gains immobility like boomer or rockus and cannot be moved by any means, and his fog disables allies abilities too, not just enemies (this doesnt include passive abilites like werewolf)
