The way the information displays the chances of getting new phobies from card packs is deceptive at best, and predatory at the worst. Most people don’t understand that when you say “your odds of getting a new Phobie is every 1 pack” but there are 3 scratch cards in the pack, that means the odds of getting a new Phobie is 33% for that pack. This needs to be displayed. There are laws that state that the probability needs to be told for any gambling-based mobile game item, and at the moment, the descriptions for card packs do not accurately tell you what the accurate probability is for getting a new Phobie without previous knowledge of statistics for a game catered to primarily children. If this is not fixed, I’ll likely report this as a legal violation.
What the information says is specifically, on average you will get one phobie per pack all rarities combined, having 3 scratch cards wouldnt make your pack have a 33% chance it would mean each scratch card has a 33% chance.
also, primarily targeted for children? How? Half the creatures in this game are references to pieces of media that are older than any child playing this game
Honestly I posted this for mods to see and maybe push to have the information pertaining to the real chance of getting a new Phobie to be displayed in a less ambiguous and misleading way, not to argue on weather you agree with what I have stated. Regardless of how I have worded the probability, why it is not worded the way you just described is exactly what I have issue with. It’s not hard to say it that way, but as it stands now, you have to do multiple calculations to get to the actual probability of a particular card pack to obtain a new Phobie (which in this particular instance is actually 72%, not 100%.) It is worded in a deliberately misleading way to make it sound like your odds of getting a new Phobie are higher than they are.
fair enough, it would be nice for them to just outright tell us the % odds on units for each scratch card. id also like them to give us the same info for tear and season packs, thats something ive asked for for a long time
